I try to highlight a students strengths and build solid study habits and work patterns. For instance, if a student has trouble focusing on his/her work, I try to push them for short periods of intense study, and then reward them with a break. Since my first degree was completed through an integrated, online program, I stress organizational skills. While I was an undergraduate, volunteering was very important to me. One of the places I volunteered was an after school program for children who live in Hamilton Hill. While I volunteered there I helped many of them with there homework as well as extra reading and writing to help improve those skills.
