Hands on, experiential. I am a creative problem solver and a kind and compassionate teacher. I am a recently retired teacher. I have taught at all levels preK through high school and with diverse populations, including overseas. I am most experienced in oil paints but will primarily teach in watercolor, gouache and acrylic for ages under 13. I believe that homeschooling and private lessons allow kids and adults to learn and understand their subject matter quicker, more efficiently, and with close guidance.
