I fundamentally believe anyone can learn. If a student isn’t grasping a concept, it just means I have to change my style of teaching. While at West Chester University, I had to take Statistics and Probability and that was because I was in the excelled Math program in high school. I had all Math courses up to and including Advanced Algebra. While attending Adirondack Community College, I had to take a Medical Math course that covered many conversions.

Practiced for years as an attorney for NYS. Semi-retired now. I have also been a tutor with the Literacy Volunteers of America (LVA) in Albany, NY. I met with a Korean graduate student at U. Albany and helped him learn English. I am also able to help in foreign language tutoring with German and French.
I was trained well by the Literacy volunteers of America. I believe that my style is to help the student with repetition, while still making learning fun, via conversation and connecting the importance of what is being learned to every day life.

I am currently a practicing attorney in Albany, New York, and I plan to go back to school to obtain my Ph.D in Public Administration and Policy.
