I earned a BA degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis, and a minor in Animal Behavior. I also chose to take several english and writing courses to supplement my studies and improve my writing skills. I graduated from UW Oshkosh with a BS degree in Elementary Education and English. I have been a teacher for 18 years. I have taught all subjects to PreK, second and third grades. I have also worked with At risk high school students. I am currently a professional caregiver and activity aide in a group home with individuals who have physical and cognitive disabilities.

I go through all the concepts with the individual pertaining to what portion of statistics they are studying at that time. I will then walk them through a couple of examples demonstrating how to properly obtain the correct answer. I will follow that up by asking them to do a problem without any direct instruction from me. I will watch them work on the problem to assure they are working on it properly. If any mistakes are made I will politely point them out as the individual is working. Finally, I will ask them to work on problems completely on their own and I will check their answers when they are done. I feel the only way to learn statistics, or any math for that matter, is through repetition and working on a lot of problems.
