A Little Bit About Me...

I have a BS is Mathematics, which has given me the knowledge and confidence to teach various levels of Mathematics. I have participated in research programs which have given me a thorough understanding of how to prepare research papers. During the last decade I have taught and tutored in mathematics, reading, and study skills with a high level of success in my students. I have taught and tutored from first grade through first year college levels, mostly sixth through twelfth. After obtaining a list of objectives, I like to offer a pop quiz to set a baseline. Thereafter, topics are divided in number of days available for preparation. Most important topics and topics not well understood get time and individualized priority. Offer a challenge test at the end. Harder than the test students will face but no so hard as to lower self steem.
