Having graduated from a Masters in the Arts of Teaching (Adolescent Science - Physics) program in the summer of 2009, I am not only well versed in the structure of New York State Regents Exams but am also up to date with many modern teaching and assessment techniques. I have had two student teaching placements, a year and a half of substitute teaching, and numerous experiences tutoring math and science to individuals and groups both professionally and as a volunteer since 2003. Further, having a Bachelor’s of Science in Materials Science and Engineering, I have also had experience with the applications and tools of math and science in varied contexts such as medicine, engineering, computer science, communications, forensics, and others. It is my goal that the efforts of students produce more then just good grades. I assess their needs, the way they think, and what ends they may apply
