A Little Bit About Me...

Been an administrative aid for 3 years and have two degrees but just relocated here in the US. I am willing to tutor but I need materials and if provided, will see to it that I deliver. I have taken multiple major exams, state exams, entrance exams, licensing exams. My comments on tutoring Government : I have taught the Constitution in American History, but not Comparative Government.

My name is John Calleri and I have been a teacher for more than 30 years. During that time, I have taught in two languages, English and Spanish, and in three countries: the United States, Germany, and Spain. I have completed several long-term substitute teaching positions, picking up where a teacher left off, often times unexpectedly. I have taught classes in the elementary, middle and high school.
My philosophy is that education is power. Knowledge is our greatest defense and our greatest weapon. Through knowledge we gain experience, which enriches our competence, which protests the ills of society, which leads to a social justice, and most important, liberty.
