Throughout my scholastic career I have always been a focused and driven student. While at Elder, I was a Spanish and science tutor, graduated in the top four percent of my class, and received the distinction of "National Hispanic Scholar." Also, during the summers, I volunteered at Children's Hospital, monitoring play-rooms and working with children of all ages. Here at Ball State I am pursuing degrees in Pre-Medicine and Spanish and am well-versed in Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy, and all aspects of writing, both in English and Spanish. I began homeschooling my children in 1993. My older son was in 8th grade, my younger son was in 4th grade, my oldest daughter was in Kindergarten, and my twin daughters were 2 years old. My older son graduated with 2 bachelor degrees after spending a year in France as an English teacher in a high school. My younger son graduated with a double degree and a minor. Both are currently in grad school. My oldest daughter will be returning to school next year after a 2-year leave. My twin daughters will begin college in the fall.
