Overcome Dyslexia

I am an experienced dyslexia tutor. I have been tutoring children and adults for the past 10 years using the Barton Reading and Spelling System. The Barton Reading and Spelling System is an one-on-one intensive tutoring system! I received my training at The Dyslexia Tutoring Center in Hawaii where I volunteered. I have tutored students one-on-one for reading, writing, and math, and have taught private music lessons for voice (since 2005), violin (since 2005), and piano (since 2004). Graduating with a 3.4 GPA in Mass Communications, I have always been creative in both design and writing. I have earned a dual BS in Mass Communications with the emaphasis being in both Public Relations and Journalism. I also have a minor in Spanish, a language in which I am fluent. I have excelled at English since highschool and have written many articles, essays, and website content. I tutored beginning through Intermediate accounting, Principles of Marketing and other business subjects from 2000-2003. I was a formal tutor for one year and a student tutor for 2 years. I currently tutor family members, friends and church members in all basic elementary through college subjects. (ex.
