Since I have entered the teaching profession I have worked with children of all elementary levels. This experience has provided me with the tools to work with all types of children from grades K-5. Since I have graduated from IUP I have worked primarily in an urban setting which has afforded me the opportunity to work with children of various backgrounds from affluent to homeless. I have my Bachelors of Science in History and my Masters in Education. I taught 7th - 12th grade students in AP US Government, Economics, Sociology, US History, World History and Geography. I was Sponsor of the Drama Club and committee work included Faculty Scholarship, Honor Society, TAG, and textbook selection committees. I was selected as the Beverly Manor DAR History Teacher of the Year and Summer Governors School Outstanding Educator.
