Writing is one of my top subjects! I taught this subject in the elementary level and had excellent results in it. I have also helped students in the upper levels to write. I have also tutored college students to write their compositions with great success. I enjoy writing myself just for fun.

I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, elementary and middle school for over thirty nine years. I have taught in different school districts in Texas both public and private. I have enjoyed this experience tremendously because I truly believe in the impact it can have on a child. The opportunity to work with a child is a responsibility worthwhile.

I am currently a student at the University of Texas at Brownsville majoring in the Bilingual Education field. I worked for 2 years as a teacher's assistant at a dance studio and I currently work at a public high school as an English, Science and Social Studies tutor. More About This Tutor...

I taught first grade for a twelve years and I am used to using manipulatives, flash cards or whatever materials my students need to be successful. I believe that when students conquer reading/writing and are reading/writing on grade level all subjects fall into place because when students can read all subjects are easier for the student to be successful. I have a great amount of patience and I am persistent with my students because I want them to learn as much as their ability allows them.
