Earth Science is one of my top subjects! Bachelors Degree in Geology graduated Magna Cum Laude and for 2 semesters was a teaching assistant for an Earth Science class in which I taught a students with different backgrounds and skill levels in general Earth Science. I am a visual learner, and so my first approach to teaching is using visual aids. I usually draw, use diagrams, or try to paint a mental picture for my students of what I'm trying to teach them. I am excellent at explaining complex terms so any layperson can understand them. I have only worked with teenage/young 20s people, so have less experience with a younger crowd. I have learned teaching college students that if one teaching approach doesn't work, try another! I am willing and able to explain the same concept as many ways as needed for someone to understand.
