My comments on tutoring Microsoft Excel : Excel is a really useful tool for crunching numbers and once you get the idea of how the formulas work, it's an invaluable one

My teaching style is usually hands on however where possible, I also have the ability to tutor remotely, greatly increasing the opportunity for distance learning.

I have found that the best way to teach students is to have them do, not listen. Most students at any level are very unmotivated to learn if someone is lecturing at them or working at a pace that is above what they are able to accomplish. I have a BS in Elementary Education and just completed my sixth year of teaching at the elementary level.
