My teaching style is to teach the whole child. As a business professional I was continually called upon to make presentations to corporate personnel, owners, propert management personnel, and other interested parties. I made these presentations interesting and informative by inserting relative humor and everyday experiences. I was often requested back. As an instructor post-secondary education I enjoyed teaching and applying humor and every day events to the learning process. As a full-time adjunct instructor I taught accounting, business administration, creative writing, ethics, and math. For four years I had a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience. I have never believed in or practiced the lecture as a form of instruction. Rather I apply a program of hands-on repetition, a "walk me through it" approach whereby the student demonstrates what has been retained and understood and where we need to apply some more time.
