I lived in Chile for almost two consecutive years, and studied in Costa Rica for a short time. My B.A. is in Anthropology and Spanish, and my M.S. is in International Studies. I currently teach at a local community college. In undergrad, I was somewhat of a perfectionist looking for a way to help others. I found that being a tutor and a supplemental instructor allowed me to help others in ways I could never imagine. I became a California Reading and Learning Certified tutor and supplemental instructor in 2008 with a program called the Center for Academic Success at the small liberal arts college I was attending and recieved students asking for help in classes including english, college writing seminars, chemistry, and math.
