My comments on tutoring Literature : Being able to read novels and being able to interpret them correctly.

My students enjoy coming to lessons with Ms. Sharon. I make them feel comfortable, and always encourage them to ask me questions. I always ask them if their was something that they had in the classroom that they didn't understand, and they are not inhibited to tell me so. My comments on tutoring Literature : I love reading and I work hard to cause my students to love reading. Reading is a way for us to leave ourselves, and join another character, someplace, anyplace and live in his or her world for a time. What an escape mechanism reading is. No drugs, alcohol or tobacco needed -- just words. And I teach students to enjoy, no, to love the words that other folks have written to make us think, feel, wonder and learn.
