I have an M.A. in Sociology from San Diego State University and am currently employed at San Diego City College, where I have worked as an adjunct instructor of sociology for ten years. I have also taught at Grossmont College, Cuyamaca College, and San Diego State University. My courses cover topics such as introduction to sociology, sociology of the family and alternative lifestyles, and social issues (criminality, gender, etc). In addition, I have experience in related fields, having worked as an Overnight Counselor at Casa Pacifica, a 14-bed transitional residential treatment program for mentally ill adults in summer 2008.
