My teaching style is very hands on. I understand that students learn in a variety of ways. Some are hands on, and need to actually get their hands on the project to understand. Some learn by seeing it. They have to see it and then maybe write it and learn by visualizing. Some learn by listening. They can listen to a lecture and hang on to every word. I understand that all children are different, and therefore lessons have to be taylored to fit each child's learning needs. I love children and enjoy teaching. When I was teaching in a public school, I was very well liked by both children and parents. I was there for every child; not just the good ones. I enjoy watching others learn and come to the realization that they can achieve their goals. My teaching/tutoring style is relaxed and pro-active. The more the student discovers on their own with only a little coaching and encouragement will last longer than if someone shows every step. I believe in a practical hands one real world method.
