My comments on tutoring Organic Chemistry : I hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry from the University of Toledo. My major required me to take over 20 hours of chemistry electives, half of which were organic chemistry courses. I am well-versed in reaction mechanisms, stereochemistry and isomers, properties of the various functional groups, and molecular nomenclature.

Since graduating from The University of Toledo in 2011, I have worked at a local pharmaceutical company as a chemist. I have been tutoring high school and college students in the Cleveland area for more than four years. In January of 2008, I was hired to work at the University of Akron – Wayne College Learning Center as a peer tutor. We are responsible for helping students that come in seeking tutoring (including test preparation and homework help). Over the past two plus years, I have tutored students in mathematics (college level basic math 1 through calculus one) and chemistry. A Little Bit About Me...

During my high school years, I was able to work with a young child through his first three years of elementary school. I tutored the child through basic math, science, reading, and various school projects. I obtained invaluable teaching experience on a personal and professional level. During college, I declared my major in Microbiology/Pre-med. A Little Bit About Me...

I earned a 98% in my College Algebra course this past fall so I am here to lend a hand to those who could use it. My focus in college was Communication with a minor in Philosophy. I also studied international relations for 6 months in Europe, earned a certificate in graphic and web design in San Francisco, and I am currently studying medical imaging here in Cleveland.
