I believe that all children learn differently. Some children need more of a hands on approach while others are more visual and still others learn just by memorizing facts. Whenever I have been recruited to help someone in the past I have been a firm beleiver in less is more. Though it is important for the person to understand what he/she is reading or writing it is important to shadow their work instead of smothering them. I always feel for both myself and others that learning comes from doing and trying by ones self, and asking for help only when needed.
