A Little Bit About Me...

I took a few classes on teaching at a small community college while I was still in high school. I still am considering becoming a teacher after going back to school to complete my major in accounting. I've always been a stronger believer in one-on-one teaching working more proficiently then being taught in a classroom. I am very patient and hard-working. I had an internship at an under-priviledged daycare for local children in Maryland and it was one of the most rewarding things I have ever accomplished. I like a jump right in style that is forthright and honest. I have a sense of humor, and will use it teaching, but only sparingly. I believe that the student's desire to learn is the biggest factor in his or her mastering information. I have a lot of experience working with students who have had terrible education experiences, who have not had support at home, who have made bad personal decisions.
