Patient and Supportive, but always Persistent

I have logged over 5,000 hours of tutoring in the last four years. As far as teaching goes, I am mostly here to help the person with the way they write their papers, organization of paragraphs, spelling, whether or not the writing makes sense to the reader, and whether or not the reading understands what is written. I believe in being honest about my critiques to the person's writing and being a fair judge all to help the student improve his or her skills so they can become not just good but great at what they are doing. My comments on tutoring Spelling : Depends on The level.

I've worked with Ocean State Chess as well as in Eclectic Karate providing instruction to children of various age groups. In addition to one on one academic tutoring of various individuals History, English, and Mathematics throughout high school. I've also helped those with learning disabilities use their strengths to workaround their weaknesses.
I blend older teacher techniques and methodology with modern innovations. My preferred method is directed student discussion, by which students gain greater comprehension of the material presented.
