I had the opportunity to begin teaching at the College level when I was in my Master's program and continued teaching College Writing courses to Freshmen for two years after I graduated. After moving to Lincoln, Nebraska to begin work on my Ph.D. I started working at a Writing Center at a local Community College. My two years experience as a Writing Tutor has given me the wonderful opportunity to hone my skills as a tutor and teacher and to learn to help student's with varying needs; including, ESL, non-traditional adult students, and those with learning challenges.
