I received my Bachelor's degree in 1989 and worked as an assistant engineer in Binghamton NY until I started my masters program at SUNY Cortland. I have held Physics, Earth science, Chemistry and Biology appointments in the years that followed in a variety of School districts throughout the state. I have spent five years tutoring and 17 teaching, including 12 years of summer school. The best thing about teaching and tutoring science is that it easily transfers to all of the other disciplines. My experiences and my insatiable appetite for learning have enabled me to make significant connections across the disciplines and to keep on learning!

I have extensive experience working with children grades prekindergarten to eleven. I taught universal prekindergarten, kindergarten and fifth grade, as well as teaching a social action course to students in grades ten and eleven. I have tutored students in grades kindergarten through tenth grade for the past 5 years. I have tutored students in math, reading, social studies, writing and study skills. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M.S. in Reading and Literacy. I am a New York State certified elementary and early childhood education teacher.

I graduated from syracuse university in violin performance. I been playing with symphony orchestras in the upstate area, such as Syracuse Symphony, Binghamton Philharmonic, Utica Symphony, Tri-cities Opera. As well I been performing in NY city ,with musicians from many nationalities, that is giving me the opportunity to practice my language skill's in spanish, english and french.
