I generally give an assessment to find out about individual student needs. When working with younger students, I usually plan a series of activities, and learning games to help reinforce learning. A Little Bit About Me...

I am a licensed Special Educator. I have been teaching students ages 3 to 21 in the public school system for 14 years. I am both an Early Childhood Specialist in General Education and a Special Educator for all grades. I am able to identify and remediate learning problems. I have a wealth of interventions and adaptations to assist in creating and executing a personalized learning program for your student.
My main goal is for the student to achieve understanding to ensure long term learning and positive changes. My teaching style is to put the student's preferred learning style(s) together with the learning goal to create a good attitude toward learning. I use hands-on methods to engage the student actively in the learning process. I am patient and able to identify areas of difficulty for improvement.
