I've been teaching college and high school level mathematics for over 6 years. I have been tutoring math and sciences over a decade. I've worked as a Statistician private contractor for about a year for Hospira and Partners BHM, and I worked in math education software design for about a year as a content editor and tester. I try to alleviate math anxiety, and introduce thoughtfulness as a way to solve problems. I teach how to understand math rather than just mimicking the behavior of the teacher. The civil engineering program that I successfully completed into a 4 year BS degree, was math and science intensive, with about half the courses requiring laboratory work. My highest math course was in differential equations, also I completed physics, chemistry, and electrical course material. I have had 9 years experience as either field engineer or construction superintnedent. As a high school student, I was very active in extracurricular activities. I participated in the rotary club, volunteering at local soup kitchens.
