I have been playing chess all my life, and enjoyed studying it, and also teaching it! The more chess players we have in this world, the better. Being a 19 year old, it's fairly difficult to summarize your tutoring experience. Though I am not a licensed tutor, I am highly qualified on the subject I tutor. I have taught friends, and family the game of chess, and am looking for more students. I'm laid back, patient, and willing to teach your kid the fundamentals of chess. I understand how to teach someone a subject that they may not be educated on, so feel free to let me help.

I have played chess for 15 years recreationally, and truly enjoy the game. I have experience in English, advanced reading and writing skills due to Advanced Placement classes I took in high school. I have 15 years experience in playing chess recreationally and joined various chess clubs in school. I worked as a tutor/teaching assistant at Kumon Math & Reading Center, tutoring children ages 4-14. My teaching style is to do whatever works, and to get it done. I pride myself on working with my students on their level and being able to understand their personal barrier to grasping the material. I am very conscious of not imposing upon them the way it "should be done". The way it should be done is whatever way makes sense to them and as a tutor, I work hard to find this "way". I have developed the patience to work with students at their pace and to also challenge them to expand their boundaries. Ultimately, patience and persistence are what can be used to summarize my teaching style. I have been tutoring since 2006 and have covered a broad range of subjects during my time. My tutoring experience ranges from helping elementary students prepare for private school entrance exams to tutoring college students in math, english, economics, and history and everything in between. I hav

As a engineer I have been training operators in everything form SPC to troubleshooting for 30 years. I am a volunteer tutor for Adult ESL & GED for the Literacy Council of Williamson County since June 2009. I have worked with adults. I prefer a one on one direct instruction and mentoring, keeping everything simple and fun. I am not sure how well I would be with children; I have none of my own and have not spent much time with my nephews and nieces. I have worked with a few of my friends children, helping them understand algebra, showing them how simple it really is and how it can be fun.
