My comments on tutoring Special Education : All of my training and experience is in this area.

I always adjust my teaching styles to the child I am working with.
I have taught for seven years in various levels of special Ed. I have also worked in 5th grade for two years and two years in kindergarten.I have wanted to work as a teacher since I was young playing school with my brothers. I design the lesson to the learning preference of the student. I incorporate technology, visual, tactile and kinesthetic teaching styles. This gives the student the maximum opportunity to learn. If a student is having trouble with reading comprehension there are various skill sets a child learns in order to help with standardized tests. I have experience in that area. An understanding of literary elements can also enhance a child's understanding of literature and reading. The ultimate goal is for the child to be able to read for gaining information, but also understanding of the world and experiences around them and from other people.
