I design the lesson to the learning preference of the student. I incorporate technology, visual, tactile and kinesthetic teaching styles. This gives the student the maximum opportunity to learn. If a student is having trouble with reading comprehension there are various skill sets a child learns in order to help with standardized tests. I have experience in that area. An understanding of literary elements can also enhance a child's understanding of literature and reading. The ultimate goal is for the child to be able to read for gaining information, but also understanding of the world and experiences around them and from other people.
