My teaching style is one of friendly leadership. Working through problems or lessons with the student by leading them through it, then working it with them side by side while explaining the details helps them achieve the accomplishment of learning without making them feel as if they were just instructed how to do it. Helping a student learn is more than just teaching them a lesson in math, science, or English; it’s about being someone that they can look up to as a role model, being someone that they can learn from in more than just an academic manner, and being someone who is there for them when they need something. As a Bowling Green State University student who has studied Communication Disorders I have come across many experiences with children. Communication Disorders not only includes speech, but language as well. I have gained knowledge about how children read and write and why some children may have problems with this. A Little Bit About Me...

It has been a passion of mine to teach. I believe the biology and chemistry coursework necessary for my degree, would be of great benefit. Every child learns in different ways, I will assess what ability level each child learns at; and tutor to each child's needs.
To give you some background, I graduated from Purdue University, Fort Wayne with a degree in biology and chemistry. I subsequently accepted a position with the Allen County Department of Health as an Environmental Health Specialist. In this position, I routinely inspect restaurants and markets in the Allen County Area.
