I have worked at Utah Valley University Academic Tutoring Lab, tutoring Science and developmental math from June 2009 to August 2014. I believe that it is important to have fun while learning. A good example would be my experience with science. As a Mormon/LDS missionary I attended the LDS Mission Training Center and then spent 2 years in the Tokyo area. I studied and spoke Japanese daily. I taught a message in Japanese daily. Also I spoke to congregations in Japanese regularly. Following that time, 2004-2006, I studied at BYU (acclaimed for its language success). Here I have earned 20 credit hours of Japanese with an A- average. I am not fluent but I am very good.
