I have recently attained a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University. The reason I chose this degree was that it gave me an opportunity to learn all aspects of a human being. My first concentration was science. This gave me an understanding on how the body is developed. The next concentration was social work. This would help me gain knowledge on how to deal with families, and education, so I could teach.

After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English, I married and worked at support jobs while helping to raise our two children. Upon finding myself a single parent, I decided to return to school and pursue my passion for learning and working with children by obtaining my Masters in Special Education. I have since had the opportunity to work with general education students while teaching Middle School English.. From there I have worked with alternative, at-risk students, emotionally disturbed students and physically disabled students.
