I lived in Paris, France for 1.5 years then moved to Rome, Italy, again teaching English. My experiences were wonderful as I met people who really enjoyed learning English and needed it for work. As A recent graduate from a Liberal Arts School, I found it easy to connect with teaching as my calling. I have always driven for high levels of excellence in and outside the classroom and work force. Having an English and Philosphy background, I find it easy to critically think and annotate extensively works of literature. Following my graduation from the University of Connecticut I pursued a career in the insurance industry but have also spent time working as a youth group leader and worked as a part-time tutor for several years. While living in Connecticut I tutored homebound high school age children who were either out on medical leave or expelled for disciplinary purposes.
