Every person can learn, including a tutor. Helping someone find the best method of gaining knowledge takes investigation and intuition on the teacher's part. Together, you can begin a journey to reaching whatever goal you set. I believe I can be a creative guide along that path. I believe in hands on teaching wherever possible. Learning is more that just rote memorization. It is the developing of a quest to broaden horizons, a thirst for new adventures, the conquering of giants. As one who received a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, I've always loved education. With corporate background I have excellent grammatical and communication skills. In the corporations in which I worked, I wrote training manuals and trained and counseled managers and supervisors. During the past 8 years I have tutored students in math, psychology, spatial orientation, writing and reading. I also work with the Feurstein MLE program.
I enjoy teaching children of all ages, particularly on a one-to-one basis. In addition, I learn from the children. I believe a child learns best through individual attention and the opportunity to have those "aha" moments. People of all ages can meet and exceed their potential.
