I have five years middle and high school teaching experience with Rocky Mountain International Academy in Montrose, Colorado. I enjoy teaching children of all ages, particularly on a one-to-one basis. In addition, I learn from the children. I believe a child learns best through individual attention and the opportunity to have those "aha" moments. People of all ages can meet and exceed their potential. My experience with tutoring children is that we have made a difference in each other's lives.
As one who received a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, I've always loved education. With corporate background I have excellent grammatical and communication skills. In the corporations in which I worked, I wrote training manuals and trained and counseled managers and supervisors. During the past 8 years I have tutored students in math, psychology, spatial orientation, writing and reading. I also work with the Feurstein MLE program.
