I have taught more than 130 sections of twenty two different courses in seven different academic disciplines at five different colleges and universities. I have graduate degrees from Harvard and Johns Hopkins. I read seventeen languages. I have children who are twenty one, seven, six, four, and two, as well as a granddaughter who is three. For the past several years I have owned a run my own Grant Writing Company. I specialized in the teaching and the mentoring of my clients in the Grant application process. I worked hand-in hand with them in preparing the detailed paperwork. I aided them in so as they were able to shape their business proposal so that it would fit the necessary criteria to recieve various grants. I am an accomplished writer, public speaker and independent business owner. I first must one hundred percent become knowledgeable and comfortable with the material I will be teaching. I enjoy being able to personalize myself not only with the work but the students as well. I am entirely patient and open to questions and problems and suggestions that need be. I have an open door policy. No question is to small and no problem to big. I am willing to work with complicated schedules.

I love teaching and working with all children. I prefer a one on one setting and use positive constructive teaching methods. I am a good listener and have a lot of patience. I spent a year and half of my college career studying Elementary Education before switching to Psychology. I feel capable and confident teaching children of any age and aptitude. I am a firm believer in setting up a solid foundation of competence in a subject before moving on. I pride myself on being able to quickly and accurately assess the present faculty of students and work to reinforce the foundation of that aptitude before moving on to more advanced concepts. Once a firm foundation is established, moving forward becomes a simple matter because all contingent concepts are thoroughly understood and the confidence of the student is established.
