I currently manage a research lab at Albany Medical College. During my tenure here in the past six years, I have been able to instruct techniques that I have learned and developed to other colleagues and students that have worked in the laboratory, even though my teaching experience began in high school as a laboratory assistant in the 10th grade biology classroom. I started off college at Mohawk Valley Community College and earned a Liberal Arts and Science degree. I feel that all college students should be well rounded and should take a wide variety of courses. I then enrolled at Utica College to finish my BS degree. Over those two years, I took 18 science courses and most of them were accompanied by labs. It was stressful and difficult but it was something I was determined to complete.
