My teaching style consists of various things. First and foremost, I believe that all children can and will learn. When given the appropriate resources and materials, a safe and nuturing envirmonment and an individual capable and ready to teach the whole child success will then manifest. I am currently in my 7th year as an Exceptional Children's Teacher. My most recent position consists of being an Algebra I Inclusion teacher where I am responsible for going into the general education classroom providing educational assistance to students with special needs primarily while assisting everyone else collectively while present.

During my education program through the University of South Florida I had to complete 3 internships withing the Sarasota County School System. During my 1st internship I was placed in a 5th grade classroom at Garden Elementary School in Venice, FL. In this internship I spent my time working with small groups in the classroom during their reading block as well as working with students one-on-one. During my 2nd internship I was placed in a 5th grade classroom and a kindergarten classroom at Cranberry Elementary in North Port, FL. In the 5th grade classroom I worked with students in a whole class setting, one-on-one, and in small groups during both math and reading.
