My comments on tutoring Journalism : I am NYS certified in Literacy (grades 5-12) and English (grades 7-12), although I have several years of experience with children as young as Kindergarten.

I have love for the art of writing.

I prefer one-on-one only because that's how I personally learn best, and in a one-on-one atmosphere it's easier to pinpoint what one particular child is having problems with.
As far as experience goes, I've just spent four years as a professional writing major at Kutztown University. I do not have a teaching style as this implies that I or anyone can really teach another how to write. Writing is not taught in a way that science can be taught or grammar can be taught.
