As a non-traditional student, earning an Associates in Applied Science Degree majoring in Respiratory Therapy at Shawnee State University I excelled in both Science and English. I have written several essays, lab reports, and presentations and have been published in Guidepost Magazine. I have experience as a tutor and mentor from elementary (all subjects) to college level (science and English) students. I also have experience with developmentally challenged students. I am a Marshall University student and Adjunct Faculty member. I have earned a bachelor degree in Communications Studies with a minor in Public Relations. In 2006, I received a Master's degree in Communications with an emphasis in Oral Speaking. Presently, I am two semesters away from an Ed.S. in Higher Education with hopes of entering the doctorate program next fall.
