I am a recent graduate from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, with a BS in Business Administration - International Business and a focus in Chinese. Because this program is relatively new, a degree in International Business required multiple Finance courses, which allowed me to learn many advanced statistical and mathematical concepts. In these classes, I often assumed an informal tutor role and helped my fellow students understand difficult points. I have teaching experience on all grade levels in urban school districts. I am currently a special education teacher in the Saint Louis Public School District, and I have enjoyed the challenge of working with educationally handicapped students and seeing many of them being mainstreamed into the general education population.
