I've been a tutor for the past 8 years. I started tutoring/teaching as a college student, and I've loved every moment. It's so rewarding to see a student's growth in a subject area. I've provided Praxis and ACT prep to students as well as provided help for subject are state tests such as Biology and U.S. History. I have worked as a Sunday school teacher instructing children ages ten through sixteen. I also taught vacation Bible school during the summers. During my senior year of high school, I mentored a young lady named Olivia Draper with whom I received a $2500.00 scholarship from Champions for Children for college.I also worked as a substitute teacher for Madison County Schools in 2009-2010. I worked most of my substituting assignments at the alternative school. I fell in love with the desire to teach students while working with the students there. I noticed there is a need for passionate educators. I plan to begin the movement.

My comments on tutoring Homework Help : Earned Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Memphis in 1991. Taught in preschool from 1992 until 1993 in Concord, CA. Taught my own children from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

After graduating from University of Memphis, I moved to California and taught in a Montessori preschool until beginning my own family. To be able to work at home, I managed a small 24 unit apartment complex for 4 years. After my third child, I began homeschooling my own children in grades K-12th grade and have for the last 10 years. I plan to continue until all have graduated.
My teaching style includes more than one style because different children learn in different ways. For example, a child may learn by doing(I would use the demonstration-performance method). Another may be an auditory learner where I would use the lecture method, on a child's age level of course.
