My passion is to teach, although retired, I will, always be a teacher, and that is why I want to teach. Due to the experiences I have had, I have become very proficient in my field. I will tutor or teach, by developing an individual learning plan, which begins with informal assessment, establishing, tangible learning goals, and targets implementation, and then, concludes with a final assessment to make sure benchmarks were reached. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always worked well with children because I enjoy their capacity to learn. I am drawn to students who feel they are incapable of excelling in subject areas in which they struggle. I also have a gift of working with students who have behavioral challenges and/or special needs to due to a disability. My AA in Early Childhood helped me to understand how the brain develops and how people learn and how to utilize the stages of development in educating people. My BA in Child and Family Studies has given me the ability to see each of my students wholistically and to teach them according to their future goals based upon their background and goals. I enjoy teaching and working with a variety of students. I do hold firmly that all young people can learn, just via different modalities. I thrill when students finally master a concept that they have been striving to grasp.
