Typing became no longer in high school, why? Kids today growing up haven't a clue to know what it feels like to have to take a typing test. The art is lost. Do big time corporatiojs even care? Maybe not, dollars and cents seem to be the rave anymore. I failed typing in high school. I will never forget my typing teacher Mrs. Stanley. She taught me alot, and more than just how to type. I eneded up taking typing during night classes, while still attending school during the day my senior year. I am so thankful I aquired and somewhat mastered the skill. Individualized learning/teaching for optimal comprehension

I started tutoring in my teens helping young children with Autism Spectrum Disorders develop English and Math skills as well as speech therapy and public speaking. I tutored my fellow students while attending Carroll Community College in English 101 and 102 as well as Creative Writing. I then moved on to being a one on one with high school students with special needs in the Baltimore area.
I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. Every job I've ever had has been one where I teach. I had a job 3 years teaching ballroom dance, 2 years I coached T-ball, and for 4 years I've tutored math. I would say that my teaching style is very interactive. Anyone can give instructions but I love feedback from a one on one situation as well as a group environment. I base alot of my instruction on analogies; when a person can relate an experience or another word to a term being tought, their understanding is broadened and 99% of the time embedded in the longterm memory.
