I am currently an MSU physics and geological sciences double major and a 3rd year student. I am very proficient in math and most physics classes and love helping kids and/or peers in learning math in a way that will allow them to excel to the best of their ability. I have experience tutoring in mathematics and would love to utilize my abilities to help people with their education.

Both calculus-based and algebra-based physics. I like to work one on one with students in a neutral location. Small groups are not out of the question however. When I was studying engineering at University of Michigan, I took a job as a tutor at Washtenaw Community College. This was the most rewarding job I ever had. Since about the year 2000, I have been working as a freelance tutor in the subjects of math, chemistry and physics. I also tutor students in engineering courses. I generally work with college students or upper-class high school students. Normally I work in the Brighton/Howell Michigan area. I meet most students at a public library or coffee shop. My average rate is $50 per hour. This can be negotiated, however. I like to take the students ability to pay into consideration and will charge less per hour if advanced payment can be arranged.

In 2006 I graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS in Engineering Science. It gave me an understanding in a broad range of mathematical areas as well as areas of other sciences. During that time I worked with volunteer organizations like Salem Housing and Habitat for humanity for three years, which enabled me to mentor a variety of ages. In the last year I've worked with a homeschooling group on a project called, "Leaping Lizards." I love people's capacity for learning.
