I tutor students singly or in a group. I am an honor graduate of New Iberia Senior High School (number 3 in a class of 650 students while maintaining a 3.9 GPA). I am a magna cum laude honor graduate (3.85 GPA) of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA where I majored in finance and received a B.S. in Business Administration. I am a proficient mathematics tutor who is presently a mathematics tutor at RezAcademy, LLC and Sylvan's Learning Center. I previusly worked as a mathematics tutor at both South Louisiana Community College and Mathnasium, Inc. I also was a mathematics tutor at Lafayette Middle School. In addition to tutoring, I have substitute taught in the local public school systems in both New Iberia and Lafayette Parishes as a mathematics instructor. I taught algebra at Remington College in Lafayette, Louisiana.

I love to make things interesting. I struggled with science in middle school and required a tutor. This person didn't make learning the subject fun, so from there I decided that with everything students learn a little fun should be involved. As soon as the student becomes stressed, I do some kind of physical activity with them to make them feel better. I have finished many of my math classes through high school with A's. I absolutely love writing stories and essays. The lowest grade I have receives on any writing assignment was a B. I have tutored many of times before and my students did extremely well. One student started with me with a grade of D in math and picked it up to an A.

I have tutored in high school. After getting to college, I tutored on campus for four years in subject areas: Math, English, and Spanish. I have taken a few education courses. I have taught a lesson at a high school. I have also been introduced to different techniques/ways of teaching. Some people have a fear of math, but I love it and enjoy teaching it. I have been blessed to be able to teach it in a way that has helped many students and I hope to help you in any way that I can! :) I enjoy explaining certain concepts and then I may give the student a few problems to work on their own.
