A Little Bit About Me...

i have never taught professionaly, but have assisted fellow students. the methods i useed to help them were ither to incorporate the subject matter into a sumject that they had a personal interest in, or manny time i found that they just didnot understand the language of the subject so i reexplained it in simpler terms and they got it just fine.
Even as a student i helped my fellow students to understand and grasp the subjects they were having difficulty with. i can generaly spinn the information into a subject matter that interests the individual or just explain it in an easier to understand manner, offted they just get lolst in the language of teaching. i minnored in math, and majorred in science and agriculture in high school, ansd took veternary technology in colledge this involved mostly biologies and lab technigues.

I am currently a Masters in teaching biology student and am working part time in a biotechnology teaching laboratory. As an instructor in the lab, I work with middle and high school aged students who come to the University on field trips. I have experience tutoring younger students in math as well. I have a strong background in biology and chemistry and will be dual certified in both upon graduation in December 2010. Furthermore, I am almost fluent in Spanish. I also have a lot of experience working with school aged children as I have been a babysitter and nanny during the school year and summers for the last 9 years.
