Within the last year at ITT Technical Institute, I have taught electronics engineering and programming language as an adjunct instructor.
From 1990 to 1996, while an adjunct instructor at Morton College, I taught the first Novell networking and Intell Assembler classes. I also taught the computer systems analysis and design, computer operations and Lotus 1-2-3 classes in the computer department. I also taught one section of the physical athropology course.
During the past twenty years, I continue to give presentations in astronomy and fossil collecting to elementary, high school and library groups.
I employ a wide range of classroom techniques: analogies, relating theory to current applications, drawing upon "real world" work experiances as examples, student exercies and practices, among many others.
