I have been teaching K4-8 since 1994 as a substitute and certified teacher. I hold a BA in Computer Science, and Mathematics, and a Master in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. As an international student who came to the USA with no English, I found ways to help me learn and understand American Read and Writing Standards and graduated with honors. Enthusiastic learner and tutor!

With respect to tutoring, I worked during the summer of 2009 as a teachers assistant for a summer-school program known as Korea Poly. Writing is one of my top subjects! Beginners (K - 1 graders) in writing should focus on how to print letter and words legibly. They need to practice the use of appropriate strokes, loops, and lines to form upper and lower case letters. Use of lined or ruled papers are ideal in practicing how to print letters because it has blue and red colors with broken lines in between straight lines. Writing needs the correct usage of Conventions such as Capitalization, Grammar, Spelling, and Punctuations. Students should use the rules in writing such as when to use Capital letters or upper case letters, Paragraph writing (which composes a composition) should use indentation and spacing.
