Private and group lessons- Beginner Level Dance!

I have been teaching dance for four years, ranging from groups of 20 young students to private sessions for adults. I typically work with children and am experienced with large groups. I currently teach Ballet and Tap at Ajala Essence Dance Studio in Lansdowne, PA. I was the Performance Coordinator at Abington Friends Summer Enrichment Program in Jenkintown, PA. In addition, I have taught Hip Hop and Jazz at multiple intercity programs. I have also volunteered free Salsa lessons to adults.
No matter the technique, I always start with a thorough warm up. I begin with relaxing exercises and lead into more rigorous and conditioning exercises. I grew up in competitive dance and hold 3 nation titles in dance. I was a varsity cheerleader through out high school and I also attended Joffrey NYC pre professional dance program in high school. I am now in my last year at University of The Arts under the Prestigious Artist Scholarship as a Dance major. Through out college I was also a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader and just finished up my contract with them. I have been a substitute teacher for the past two years covering all grade levels from pre-k three up to senior year in high school. I am a Master's Degree candidate in Elementary Education at Wilmington University. I enjoy students at every level and am amazed at what a difference a year makes in their development. A Little Bit About Me...

As a college graduate, I value the importance of education. I've earned a bachelor degree- a Bs in Biology where I've gained knowledge of science and math. In addition, I also have a Teacher's Certification for Elementary Education in a Hebrew school setting from Midrashah Junior College. Over the past 12 years, I've tutored students in basic Hebrew, Bar and Bat Mitzvah practice, elementary, and middle school math and science.
